Being asked to lead a couple’s wedding ceremony is a high honor. It means these two people, who are joining their lives forever, trust me to tell their story in front of everyone they love most. I don't take that lightly. That's why I write it so that your ceremony could be ONLY YOUR ceremony.
I work with all couples and events, including:
· Any/all races & backgrounds
· Inter-faith weddings
· Blended families
· Gay/queer and straight
· Traditional and non-traditional ceremonies
· First unions and vow reaffirmations
· Spiritual, religious, and secular
My priority as an officiant is to help my couples feel
understood, encouraged, and fully accepted and to help them celebrate this step in their relationship. My job is:
I've always loved telling stories. Wedding stories? The best. I'm a natural in front of a crowd, but I also love standing back and letting a couple be the center of the story. Getting to know and represent these couples inspires me and brings me joy (the pre-ceremony meeting is actually fun). I focus on bringing special moments, whole-heartedness, and delight into every ceremony.
Sometimes couples have concerns about their wedding day: too many people to please, too many topics to avoid. I set the stage from the get-go, easing anxiety and stress and bringing calm to the wedding day. The ceremony is all about the couple, who are free to fully express themselves, their spirituality, and the pillars of their relationship. That said, I can be tactful and considerate of guests' sensitivities at the same time. I cater to couples and their priorities to create an authentic, moving ceremony and a wedding experience they'll enjoy remembering for decades.
